Why this name is on the tape
BULL on NASDAQ is Webull Corporation, a digital brokerage based in St. Petersburg, Florida — not a leveraged “bull” ETF. It listed on 11 April 2025 via a SPAC with SK Growth. The product is an app: stocks, ETFs, options, futures, fractional shares, and digital assets. Webull says it is licensed in 35 markets and offers trading in 18.
That is a volume business. Customer assets, funded accounts, and contracts traded move with how active traders are, not with a single infrastructure milestone. When the tape prints BULL, it is usually printing that cycle — users, notional, options — plus whatever headline is attached to the app that week.
Users, assets, and the Q2 2026 operating print
At the end of June 2026 Webull reported 28.2 million registered users, 5.13 million funded accounts, and $28.5 billion of customer assets, up 79% from a year earlier. International funded accounts were about 810,000. APAC customer assets were more than $5 billion.
The Q2 2026 results, reported 19 August 2026, showed $198.8 million of revenue, up 51% year over year and 24% quarter over quarter. Trading-related revenue was $147.7 million, up 66%. Net income was $24.4 million, versus a loss in the year-earlier quarter. Adjusted operating profit was $62.6 million, a 31.5% margin. Equity notional was $279 billion. Options volume was 213 million contracts. DARTs were 1.6 million. Those are operating stats for one quarter of a brokerage. They are not a run-rate that automatically repeats.
The PDT rule change, and what Webull attached to it
On 4 June 2026, FINRA replaced the pattern-day-trader $25,000 / three-in-five-day rule with an intraday margin framework. Webull said it was ready on day one and later tied record volumes in the quarter to that change. A brokerage that lives on day-trading activity will print louder when the rulebook lets more accounts trade more often. That is a volume story, not a product-launch story.
Around the same print, Webull pointed to Vega AI at about 480,000 active users (up 160,000 in Q2), launches in Spain, Argentina, and Colombia, an announced acquisition of Pi Securities in Thailand, an MCP hook for natural-language research and execution, B2B futures and prediction-market rails, and Monark late-stage private SPVs. In Q2 it also repurchased about 1.82 million Class A shares at an average $6.03.
What this does not tell you
A profitable, high-margin quarter in a busy tape is evidence that Webull took more trading activity. It is not proof that DARTs, options contracts, or customer assets stay at Q2 levels if volumes fade — or if the PDT-era bump was a one-time unlock. International licensed markets are not the same as funded accounts in those markets.
On MarketNeon, BULL is a ticker like any other: price, volume, crowd mentions, and headlines can run hot while the underlying business is still a brokerage that earns when customers trade. This article is context for those prints. It does not rank the name, and it does not tell anyone to buy or sell.
