How Buy ideas are ranked

Names only surface when they clear a price floor, verified liquidity, a few days of tracking, and more than one independent confirmation.

Gates before score

The desk is not a raw percent-change sort. A candidate has to clear a $2 price floor, verified volume of at least 100,000 shares, and at least three days of tracking. Thin prints and one-session spikes are dropped before ranking starts.

Confirmations stack

A lone green session is not enough. Ranking looks for at least two independent confirmations: session bid, unusual volume, crowd with a green day, headlines, a real EPS beat, or a leading theme. A 7-day loser that is bouncing needs a third confirmation so a dead-cat bounce does not look like a setup.

  • Placeholder EPS of 0.00 is not a beat or a miss.
  • A real miss is never treated as confirmation.
  • A falling theme does not count as support even if the ticker is green.
  • Featured names cap at two per theme so one basket cannot own the board.

How to read the board

Each row carries a 0โ€“100 score, evidence labels, and a plain-English why line. The why line explains the stack you are looking at โ€” it is not a prediction. Copy on the desk stays informational. MarketNeon does not tell anyone to buy or sell.
