SNDK · flash sales surged. How much came from price?

Sandisk's latest reported quarter grew 51% sequentially. About two-thirds of that growth came from pricing, while longer-term customer agreements remain a separate story.

Sandisk makes NAND flash storage products. It has its own ticker following its separation from Western Digital in February 2025. SNDK is among the more-mentioned individual stocks in the current crowd feed, but a mention count is a measure of attention, not business quality or an investment signal. Its latest reported quarter was released August 5, 2026.

What printed, and what drove it

Fiscal Q4 2026 revenue was $8.97 billion, up 51% from $5.95 billion in the prior quarter. GAAP net income was $6.90 billion. Sandisk said roughly one-third of sequential revenue growth came from higher volume and two-thirds from higher pricing. That split matters: a price-led surge can lift margins quickly, but the same cycle can reverse.

For fiscal 2026, revenue was $20.25 billion, up 175% year over year. The company attributed growth to higher pricing and a mix shift toward higher-value customers; it said Datacenter revenue rose 437% for the year. Those are historical results. They do not establish the size of next year's flash market.

Contracts and forecasts are different clocks

Sandisk says its New Business Model agreements generally commit it to deliver stated product volumes over multiple years, with fixed and variable pricing mechanisms and financial guarantees. The company said eight customers had signed such agreements by its August investor day. The agreements may improve visibility, but they do not remove demand, manufacturing or pricing risk; the 10-K says so explicitly.

Management guided fiscal Q1 2027 revenue to $10.30-$10.80 billion. That is a forecast, not a print. The next check is whether volume and customer mix keep pace after the price-led quarter. This article is context for a popular ticker, not a buy or sell call.
